Ingredients
1pound bacon, cut into 1-2 inch pieces (The heart attack part)
1 onion, cut into strips from top to bottom
1 package of fresh mushrooms, sliced or whole
Venison chops or steaks (as much as you want)
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Directions
Brown bacon in a large skillet. When the bacon is about half done, add the onions and mushrooms.
When all is almost done add the venison and cook to your liking.
You can put the salt, pepper and garlic powder directly on the venison or in the whole dish while
cooking. Or use any you may enjoy.
I never drain the bacon grease while cooking, but when the dish is done it is placed on a platter without
the grease.
This can be served with any side dish. Plus, we always like to have garlic bread with it. The Texas toast
kind.
